Necole D. Tinsley


Necole D. Tinsley, is the Founder and Owner of House of Still, Incorporated. She is a licensed therapist in DC and Maryland with over 20 years of combined experience with Children, Family, and Adult Counseling. Necole’s passion has been to help heal individuals and families, teaching them how to accept past hurt and pain along with developing steps to transform into a happier self. She also enjoys assisting in mending broken families and bringing balance to the unit. Necole’s desire is to help heal her community one conversation at a time, taking Mental Health out of the office and into the community.
Necole had a booming career at The Johns Hopkins Hospital when she decided to step out on faith to pursue her lifelong goal of being a writer, speaker, and an advocate for healing and change. Necole is the author of her memoir Hidden Bruises – A Journey to Transformation. Necole continues to develop writing material for healing.
Necole earned her Master of Science in Agency Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University in 1998 and her Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology from Bennett College in 1996; Necole also earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2005.
Necole is the daughter of retired school teachers, sister, aunt, and a mom to an adorable son who has been her inspiration for change. Necole loves to travel internationally and domestically while also enjoying local cuisines, experiencing new and adventurous things, studying fine wines at local vineyards, and meeting new people. Necole believes spirituality and faith are the keys to life’s existence.
